I am using shellac flakes, so I have had to dissolve them in alcohol. I actually thought ahead and prepared a 2 pound cut the night before so I could get a start. I have the seal coats put on and the grain filled. Now begins the process of applying the shellac. The process of french polish is labor intensive. Lots of elbow grease, however it is enjoyable. Well on January 23 I finished the 12 string, before I got pictures of the french polish process. Here are a few pictures of the finished guitar.
