| Jen and I were married on October 5th, 2k2. The ceremony was held at Bethany Church in Sierra Madre, California. Jen and I met while I was in Alaska during the summer of 2000. Jen worked part time for L.A.B. as a dispatcher, while I was a pilot. She made sure I was scheduled to get to Juneau often. After our son Reed was born on March 23, 2001, they left Alaska and joined me in Southern California on April 8th, 2001. Finally on January 1, 2002 during the New Years Eve kiss I slipped a ring on her finger without saying anything. She managed to say "Yes". With 9 months to plan, we thought a small ceremony in a friends backyard. Well, as the list was made, we quickly saw that was not to be the case. So we thought a church wedding, with a small reception with cake and punch. Well, then someone said, "you gotta' have a party reception." Some good friends, Glen and Char, offered their backyard for the festivities.
