From the side this is a checker
pattern. The white was applied first, then some careful taping and shot
with red. The one disappointing thing was some of the paint bubbled where
it is red over white. Here is the spinner and prop blades
and the tail section with Reed giving and inspection .
I added a few details like Reed's name, kill flags, and of course a moniker on
the nose.
The only decals I used were the "Rolls Royce" emblem and a vent on the
lower engine cowl.
