I now have space for a workshop of my own. We are lucky and live in an apartment that has a garage. I only get half of it, but so far that is enough that I have been able to set up a shop to build guitars, furniture, and other things. The shop is going through some renovations. My workbench has needed to be replaced since I moved it in. It was build using some scrap wood that a friend had in his back yard. It turned out to be sufficient and has served the purpose. I have built 2 guitars on it as well as many other project. I have decided that a flat surface, with a vise and some clamping fixtures integrated into the top. I will be rearranging the the layout of shop as soon as the bench is completed.
